Occasions Folio

Tonight 7pm Central time Kathy at Paper Phenomenon will be having class for her Occasions Folio. I have my goodies all ready for my folio. Check out her ustream channel for the live class.

6 by 11 mini album? Is it still a mini? Check out this new Mini!

I saw this a few weeks ago and had to make one. I love the huge spaces for pictures. The large pocket page measures 6 X 11! The binding is all one sheet of Cardstock that is accordion folded and cut in certain places and the pockets are attached to each mountain fold. Very simple to make actually!

The elephant is also a Close to my Heart stamp that I've cut out and used colored pencils and gamasol to color.

My Birthday and Anniversary Book

This has not been bound or embelished yet.  I use the bind it all to bind it and each month has a pocket so you can put cards in in.  The front cover has an envelope to hold stamps there is also printed address sheets for the back of the book.

Each page is made by 1 12x12 sheet of cardstock. Super easy to make. Score at 6 inches then turn and score at 4 inches.  Each side is one month. Just fold so the crease is on the side with out the binding.

I haven't added embelishments yet but all I did was make tags, ink them, apply paper and dates.
