Lemon Flower gate fold paper bag mini album

I'm so excited to share this album with you. I was searching for a new album to make and couldn't find one that floated my boat so I created my own little album. I used 6 recollections paper bags and black card stock. The pp I used was Lemon flower from DCWV. 


There are 3 bags on each side to create the Gate fold album. I released the gussets on the bag as I learned from Kathy Orta and added flaps to the bags. I used the opening of the bag to put a tag in. I don't know if there are any albums out there exactly like this one.


So here is the cover. 

I used recollections bling to jazz it up a little the paper already has glitter on it so I didn't want to add to much. I am now thinking of adding some bigger flowers . Not sure yet....

The flap is open down on this side of the page. The right side of the page's flap will open up as you will see in the next picture. 

Here you can see the paper bag bottom is glued to create a pocket. 

the Yellow side is the back of the first bag. It also flips down for more pictures/journaling. The left side is the first page of the 2nd bag. 

As you can see you get a lot of places for photos and journaling.

Envelope Mini Album

This was made using a pack of  Recollections brand card/envelope set. 5 by 6.5 size. I got the tutorial from Kathy Orta off her YouTube page.  I used an old Stamping Up! paper pack I had left over from when I sold it. Gosh that pack must have been 8 years old.  Good thing I am not a paper hoarder! (Anyone who knows me knows I am.:) I got the journaling tags by googleing printable journaling tags.

This is a mini designed by Kathy Orta from Paper Phenomenon.  I love it! It has so much space for embellishments, photos and memorabilia. I'm working on one now for a Baby book.

This is made using Kathy's tutorial for soft spine 1. But I changed it up just a little as some of my flaps were ripping off and my envelopes were security printed so I had to do something to change that so you couldn't see the bar codes on the insides of the envelopes
