Garden Party Mini Album

I love making mini albums. The only problem is I now have such a huge collection of finsihed ones I feel bad they are collecting dust. I have added a page to my blog to sell some of the albums I have made just so I can recoup some of the money from the supplies I used so I can buy more supplies and add to my ever growing pile of finished albums. Who knows you may be getting an album for a Christmas present.

Here is the latest album I designed. I used Paper Phenonmens hidden hinge binding system. And most of my insperation comes from her when I'm trying to come up with page designs.  She really does come up with the best designs.

Warm and toasty

About a year ago I saw this stamp set at Archivers and I had to have it. Well it sat in my box until a few days ago when I decided I needed to start stamping again. I took it out and made a few 3 x 3 cards. These are the perfect size for those gifts for co-workers.

Oops, I forgot to color in his nose..

I just loved this stamp. I got it because I have cute pictures of the boys making smores and I wanted to use it on a layout.  Got a double with this stamp set.

Coupon holder with Notebook

I was in a meeting at work about records retention. I was a little bored to say the least and started to doodle. My doodle became a coupon holder with notebook. Hope you enjoy. ( Did I mention the meeting was boring!!)

This is the cover. I didn't want to add too much bulky embelishments so they wouldn't get caught up on things in my purse.

This is what the organizer looks like all opened up.

This is the left side where the pocket is. The pink rectangle is 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 perfect spot for picture. The expandable pocket is held closed with velcro

This is the inside of the cover which measures 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 again sized for a picture.

And here is the  5 by 8 legal pad. I made a slit in the cover so it's easily replaceable.

A year in review mini Album made smaller

Hello,

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July Holiday! I had a nice relaxing time. I have a cool mini to show you today.

This first post is a smaller version of the Seasons Change -Year in Review Mini Album designed and taught by Kathy Orta at Paper Phenomenon. I started out with a base page the size of 7 by 8. Using the hidden hinge binding system. I then created the same page styles as in her tutorial but made them to fit the page sizes I needed.

I wanted to use the Roxie paper collection by Close to my Heart and since I only had 2 packs of the papers I decided to make it smaller.  The new papers from Close to My heart are thicker than their old papers but you only get 6 sheets of patterned paper in each pack making it impossible to make a mini album with just one pack of paper. Kind of frustrating since I seem to only make mini's these days.

I also purchased the stickease stickers that go along with the paper packs.

Inside of the front cover there is a pocket page.  Lots of room to put all those memborbilla you just cant find a home for.

And behind the pocket there is another pocket. Gotta love pockets!

American Soldier Mini Album

This is an album I made using Kathy Orta's Ocassion Mini tutorial. The pages aren't shown in the order that they are in the book, but it still looks good. I made this for a friend who served in the Army. I'm sure he will enjoy it. I added Army related quotes and pictures after I took pictures of the album. There is lots of spaces for journaling and pictures.

Thanks for stopping by.
