I loved Kathy's Journal suitcase album she made but wanted one to put wallets in so i took her measurements and divided them in half and came up with a smaller version of her album. I love it. I did put flowers on the cover and now that I think about it I think they will get messed up in my purse but that gives me another reason to make another one right?

Drawer Calendar Easel
I made this drawer years ago to hold 5 cards and envies. I saw a post on you tube of an easel box with calendar. I printed the calendar from Cat . She has tons of calendar templets.
The box is made of card stock.
You will need 4 sheets of 8 1/2 by 11 card stock. I like to use Stamping Up! card stock as it's very thick and of great quality and is colored all the way through. I hate that white core card stock! You can get Stamping Up products from my friend Deb here.
1 sheet cut to - 9 1/8 by 6 1/8 - score at 1 1/2 on both short sides and 1 long side
1 sheet cut to - 9 1/6 by 6 1/16 - score 1 1/2 on both short sides and 1 long side
1 sheet cut to - 8 3/4 by 7 1/4 - score all sides at 1 3/8
You will need a piece that measures 7 by 3/4 scored at 1, 1 1/2, 5 1/2, 6. This is the handle.
1 sheet 10 1/4 by 6 1/4 - score at 3, 5 5/8 - This is the easel and you attach this to the top of the box.
I cut mats 1/4 inch smaller
This one is for my Mom. I need to find a picture more up to date as this one is 4 years old!! How sad that I don't even have a recent family picture and I scrapbook. I guess I spend all my time taking the pictures. LOL
Enjoy

Super Cute coupon book
I used medium weight chip board for the cover and legal size envelopes for the pockets. The paper is from Close to My Heart.

Matchbox style Mini album
Once again Kathy at Paper Phenomenon came up with a wonderful gift idea and today I made my first one. She has a tutorial on YouTube. Inside each paperbag is a tag that measures 6 by 6.

My very own creation!
Ok, so nothing interesting was on last night and I decided to make up my own mini album. My best friends birthday is soon and wanted to make her something extra special. This is what I came up with. Let me first say that I took Kathy Files (paper phenomenon) idea for the binding/hidden hinge of this book but changed it up a little and smashed it with my own flair. Or something like that!! I'm sure somewhere someone has came up with these page ideas and I in now way intend on stealing someones ideas or anything like that I'm just doing what pops in my brain.
I wanted to only use 8 1/2" by 11" paper as well as I have hordes and hordes laying all over my scrap room. :) the pages measure 5 1/2 by 7 1/2. The tags stick out about 1/4 of an inch from the pockets.

This is the first page closed. As you can see it's a flap the green is just peaking out on the left side. The page flips open to the right.
This is the first page with the flap open.
The 2nd and 3rd pages. Between the 1st and 2nd page is a pocket and the 2 pockets on the right are on one page.
Just a close up of the pocket page.
This is the 4th and 5th pages. Actually the previous pictures and the page with the hearts are all on page assembly. The 2 pockets on the right side are the 2nd page assembly but each creates a "typical page"
The pockets on the right are not joined together or on another page as are the previous 2 pockets although they are the same size.
Just a picture to show what I mean by the pockets are not joined together. They are only joined at the binding but move left and right freely of each other. (I'm not making sense am I? LOL)
And I decided to put the same size pockets facing each other.
... and the process starts all over again.
Hope you enjoy looking!
